The Adana Collection from Surya rugs features designs originated in the Turkish villages during the 16th and 17th Century. Surya Adana rugs are hand-knotted in India. This Indo-Turkish area rug collection was thoughtfully assembled to create the impression of that era using the same symmetrical knots as used in the original Turkish rugs. Surya Adana Indo-Turkish rugs feature the traditional geometric, tribal, and cultural motifs of the region. The wool used is semi-worsted and imported from New Zealand.

They were established in 1976 and today is one of India's leading producers of fine hand-knotted, hand-tufted and flat-woven rugs.
