The amazing Sun Aire Energy Efficient Free-Standing heater effectively heats larger areas from 500 to 800 square feet. Unlike conventional room heaters that heat only small areas, it safely and efficiently heats larger areas without the expense of installing an entire system or the prospect of plugging in several space heaters. One of the tests performed on the prototype was to place it in a large walk-in cooler. The temperature in the cooler going in was a constant 36 degrees F and the temperature coming out of the heater unit was 110 degrees F. Demonstrating it will operate even in extreme conditions.
This heater also has many safety features. The cabinet of the unit stays cool to the touch, making it safe for children and pets. There is a heat Limit Snap Disc inside each unit, should someone or something block the flow of air or the internal fan stop working for any reason. This Snap Disc is 230 on rise, meaning when the air temp. rises to 230 degrees inside the heating chamber, it will automatically shut down the unit. It will also reset itself, once the unit cools down.
