This toy is fun, serious fun. The Perego Vespa is a realistic, working electric scooter that your child can ride all over the place for hours and hours. It is powered by an (included) 12 volt rechargeable battery and has two speeds 2 ¼ mph and 4 ½ mph. Lights, engine sounds, horns, Perego wanted to make sure that this ride-on toy was just loaded with special features. (Two AA batteries required for light and sounds are not included.)
Kids will love the special touches like the Vespa's rear storage box, rear view mirrors and rubber wrapped non-skid wheels. The Vespa scooter can travel on dirt, grass or sidewalks, and has a foot pedal accelerator and automatic brakes. All the important stuff (wiring, motor and gearboxes) are safely enclosed in the chassis. The Vespa also comes with removable training wheels.
