KidCo's Gateway series has been rated the number one pressure mounted gate by a leading independent consumer organization. Installation is quick and easy without the need for tools, holes or hardware. Four non-skid mounting pads eliminate damage to walls or woodwork. A simple, one hand adult release opens the center walk-through door in either direction while the U-shaped frame remains firmly in place. A special guage tests for recommended pressure.
The Wood Center Gateway is 29 ½" tall and fits openings of 28" to 36" wide.
Optional extension kits are available for openings up to 47" wide.

Spindle Option
Many homes have staircases that aren't bordered by a wall. In this case the Y spindle aids installation of the pressure mounted gates to these types of staircases. The Y spindle wraps around the baluster to provide a secure installation.
On the Gateway®, use Y spindles only on the hinge side of the gate.
On the Center Gateway® models, the Y spindle can be used on either side of the gate. However, they must be used on the same side. No more than 2 per gate can be used.
NOTE: For installation of a pressure-mounted gate on a staircase with ballusters on both sides, you will need to use a G10 Installation Kit.
