CATNAPPER Limited Warranty Terms and Conditions

CATNAPPER designs and engineers each item with the highest standards so you, the original purchaser, have the assurance of a quality product. Cushions now have a Five Year Warranty!

1. Recliner Mechanisms
CATNAPPER’S Limited Lifetime Warranty covers the patented parts of the mechanism against manufacturing and material defects for the useful life of the product when used in a normal manner. This warranty is provided to the original consumer purchaser only and does not apply to rental, business, commercial, institutional or other non-residential users. CATNAPPER will pay the costs of labor and shipping and handling to repair or replace the defective part(s) for one (1) year from the date of the original purchase. CATNAPPER will supply the part(s) as long as they are available. The term “Limited” means the warranty does not cover neglect, accident, fire, exposure to extreme temperature or humidity, unauthorized repairs or alterations, abuse, misuse or the normal wear from use. After one (1) year, the shipping cost will be the responsibility of the consumer.

2. Cushioning
New improved Warranty! The seat cushion foams and filling materials are warranted against defective material or workmanship for a period of FIVE years from the date of the original purchase. With normal use softening will occur. Softening is not considered a manufacturing defect under this warranty. During the 5 year period of time, CATNAPPER will provide a replacement of the defective part. Labor and shipping and handling charges are covered for one (1) year from the date of the original purchase.

3. Frames
All CATNAPPER frames upholstered in its original fabric are warranted to be free of defects in workmanship and materials for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser.

4. Springs and Sleeper Mechanisms
CATNAPPER’S warranty on springs and sleeper mechanisms covers the patented parts of the mechanisms against manufacturing and material defects for five (5) years when used in a normal manner. This warranty is provided to the original consumer purchaser only and does not apply to rental, business, commercial, institutional or other non-residential users. CATNAPPER will pay the costs of labor and shipping and handling to repair or replace the defective part(s) for one (1) year from the date of the original purchase. CATNAPPER will supply the part(s) as long as they are available. After one (1) year, the shipping cost will be the responsibility of the consumer.

5. Sleeper Mattresses
Sleeper mattresses have a five (5) year Limited Warranty against defects. The warranty begins on the original purchase date. During the first year of use, the mattress will be repaired or replaced at no charge to the purchaser. After the first year of use, the mattress will be replaced on a pro-rated basis. CATNAPPER will pay the cost of shipping and handling for one (1) year from the date of the original purchase.

6. Fabrics
The upholstery fabric used on your furniture has a Limited Warranty for one (1) year from the date of purchase. This warranty covers:
    a. Seam Failure
    b. Fabric Separation
    c. Nap Loss
CATNAPPER will pay for labor costs and shipping and handling charges for defects covered by the fabric warranty. The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective fabric only. Improper cleaning or chemical treatment invalidates this warranty. The fabric warranty does not cover piling, fading or shrinkage.

7. Leather
CATNAPPER offers a one (1) year Limited Warranty from the date of original purchase for repair or replacement of leather parts against manufacturing or material defects. Since leather is a result of nature, no two pieces of leather are alike and as such, they have natural markings and grain variation, which are not considered defects. The leather warranty will be voided if evidence is found of excessive soiling, improper cleaning, abuse or where the leather has had a chemical treatment applied by the retail dealer or the consumer.

8. Electric Motors and Systems
Electric motors and electrical systems have a Limited Warranty for three (3) years from the date of original purchase. CATNAPPER will repair or replace the defective part during this period of time. However, all labor and charges after one (1) year will be the responsibility of the consumer.

9. All Other Parts
All other parts not specifically listed as being warranted are covered on a one (1) year Limited Warranty against defective material or workmanship. This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective part such as latches, table tops, shields and hinges. CATNAPPER will pay the costs of the labor and shipping and handling of these charges for one (1) year.

10. Claims
To receive the benefits or for any questions pertaining to this warranty, please contact your authorized CATNAPPER dealer from whom you made your purchase. If the information is not available from the original dealer or if you have moved to a different location, please contact CATNAPPER Service Department, P.O. Box 159, Cleveland, Tennessee 37364. You must have proof of purchase, including the date of purchase from your dealer.

LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES UNDER ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES IS EXCLUDED.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

JACKSON FURNITURE designs and engineers each item with the highest standards so you, the original purchaser, have the assurance of quality product.

1. Frame – Limited Lifetime Warranty
The frame, upholstered in the original fabric under normal use and conditions, is warranted to the original purchaser against manufacturing defects for the lifetime of the product.

2. Springs
The spring units of Jackson Upholstered products are warranted against breakage due to defective material or workmanship for the lifetime of the product.

3. Recliner Mechanism
Recliner mechanism (all metal parts) are warranted against breakage due to defective material or workmanship for a period of (3) three years.

4. Sleeper Mechanisms
Sleeper mechanisms (all metal parts) are warranted against breakage due to defective material or workmanship for a period of (3) three years.

5. Leather
JACKSON FURNITURE offers a one (1) year Limited Warranty from the date of original purchase for repair or replacement of leather parts against manufacturing or material defects. Since leather is a result of nature, no two pieces of leather are alike and as such, they have natural markings and grain variation, which are not considered defects. The leather warranty will be voided if evidence is found of excessive soiling, improper cleaning, abuse or where the leather has had a chemical treatment applied by the retail dealer or the consumer.

6. Cushions
Jackson upholstered products utilize quality polyurethane cushioning materials in conjunction with layers for superior seating comfort. Cushions are warranted for one year against loss of resiliency. The loss of resiliency should not be confused with a slight softening and flattering of the fiber and foam that will occur as a result of normal use and aging.

7. All Other Parts
All other parts not specifically listed as being warranted are covered on a one (1) year Limited Warranty against defective material or workmanship. This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective part such as latches, table tops, shields, hinges and mattress.

Warranty Limitations
This warranty doesn’t include:

1. Any defect in upholstery fabrics. There is no warranty on vinyl or fabrics against wearing, fading, or splitting.

2. Any condition resulting from other than ordinary residential wear or from any use for which the product was not designed.

3. In the event that a defect is found, repair or replacement under this warranty is at the manufacturer’s option. Cost for labor, packaging, and shipping and handling to and from the factory, if it is necessary, are not covered by this warranty.

Warranty Service

1. All discounts (i.e.: damaged goods, mis-shipments, salvage, etc.) arrangements must be approved by Linda Massingale.

2. Discounts for donated product (i.e: store openings, etc.) must be approved by Sales Management.
