The Bay Hammock Story:
Established in 1998, The Bay Hammock hammocks are made by local artisans who are familiar with the province’s tradition of fishing and net making and have pride in the work they do and take the time to do the job right. All our hammocks are hand made and for some we even make our own rope and weave the hammock bed - these are the crème de la crème of our hammocks and we are very proud of them. At the Bay Hammock Company our focus is on quality, comfort and customer service. That is why we make the rope for our best hammocks ourselves. This allows us to build in the strength required for a long life and yet maintain the softness of weave required for comfort. All rope is treated for UV and mildew protection.
